PIÈCE—UNIQUE”
A series of conversations centered around jewelry pieces that, through the stories they carry, become truly unique. An engraving, a memory: little by little, each piece becomes imbued with an intimate and personal story.
For this first edition, Jeanne, Creative Director, shares her vision of motherhood and the story behind her Le Lien necklace, engraved with a personal message.

‘Paola, my love. Your name means “small,” yet you are already so big. In my womb, you move constantly, turning around, making space for yourself. My belly is — apparently — larger than average. And it makes me happy to know you are already so present, so full of life.’”
This letter, written to my daughter during my pregnancy, reflects quite well my relationship to motherhood, and to Paola. Becoming her mother deeply grounded me in the present moment. It also multiplied my capacity to feel alive.’”
Clara, Paola’s godmother, means a great deal to me. She has become an essential part of her life. For her 33rd birthday, I had two engraved necklaces made: one for her, and one for me.
Even before the engraving, I already loved the idea that this necklace was called ‘Le Lien’ — ‘The Bond.’ Between Clara, Paola, and me, the name took on its full meaning.
I wear it every day. And Paola loves it: she constantly reads over the names engraved on the back.
I’ve never been particularly attached to objects or to those small things we give sentimental value to. But since Paola arrived, some of them have become precious. And this necklace is one of them. It has become a kind of anchor for me, almost like a talisman.’
