Pamela
is a captivating collection with mystical influences. Inspired by the symbolism of the four elements, Louise has imagined these jewels as little talismans to keep close to you, that will hold all the symbolism you give them.
Where it all begins
Since ancient times, the four elements have been used to describe what constitutes the universe: Air, Earth, Water, Fire. Quickly, these four elements and their particular properties were mixed to all sorts of esoteric beliefs, including divinatory tarot: the elements would influence the predictions given by the cards.
To each element its own talisman
A mystical collection
For this collection, Louise Damas plays with the symbolism of the four elements. Take your place in this great tarot deck in which you are the only game master. Air, Earth, Water, Fire: who will you decide to be today?
AIR
I think, I know, I balance
Air refers to intuition, exchanges and communication. Don’t be scared to try new things, cultivate your curiosity to find inspiration. Air is the favorite element of spiritual girls, but also an excellent remedy for those who are too shy!
EARTH
I own, I analyze, I use
When we think of earth, we think of stability: whether emotional or material, this element will help you find it. It is also a strong symbol of physical anchorage, which will boost your self-confidence and your sensuality.
WATER
I feel, I believe, I transform
Water is the symbol of creativity: it's time to go for it! Spiritual awakening, freedom, inspiration... Embrace the harmony and femininity that this element offers.
FIRE
I see, I am, I feel
Fire is a symbol of passion, vitality and energy. This element is strong and will act as a protective shield against bad vibes. Let yourself be charmed by its aura: it will boost your self-confidence and your ambition!
The star of the collection
Intriguing, like a little box that would contain all our secrets... We can't help but take a closer look.
The Air necklace is one of our most meticulous jewels: first by its prism shape, but also by its numerous details, since four of its six sides mix hand engraving and colored enamels. This is the first time that Louise's drawings are directly vectorized and engraved on the jewel without any prior modification. Even the clasp was molded in the shape of a flower for this extra personal touch.
For the first time, you can engrave two sides of your jewel.
All the necklaces of the Pamela collection are customizable.
Find inspiration
The starting point of this collection is the meaning we give to our jewelry. Louise wondered about the way a jewel accompanies us in the strong moments of our life, and about the symbolism it can hold, to become sometimes even a lucky charm. Added to her desire to explore the universe of the four elements, the idea of a collection of talisman looking jewels was born.
Pamela Coleman Smith: artist, activist, feminist
Born in 1878 and died in 1951, Pamela Coleman Smith was a woman of many talents, and ahead of her time: artist, illustrator, actress, feminist activist... She paved the way for many women in the art world by imposing new codes. But her most famous achievement - and the one that inspired this collection - is her illustration of the "Rider-Waite-Smith" tarot deck, renamed after her name.
A wonderful savoir-faire
With Louise Damas, with each new collection come new ambitions: to create these jewels, we used many different techniques, always more meticulous, and always handmade in our Parisian workshop.
